Western Red Cedar Shingles are used for domestic and commercial roofing as side wall cladding or mainly roofing applications on sheds, summer houses, log cabins, stables etc. They provide an environmentally friendly, durable and lightweight solution. Western Red Cedar is classified as 'durable' and it also offers excellent natural insulation properties.   4 Grades Available:
  • No.1 Grade (BLUE) - All 100% Clear/Heartwood, no knots (2.2sq.m coverage/pack @ 5" exposure)
  • No.2 Grade (RED) - Defect in top 1/3 of shingles, such as knots etc. (2.2sq.m coverage/pack @ 5" exposure)
  • No.3 Grade (BLACK) - Defect in top 1/2 of shingles, such as knots etc. (2.2sq.m coverage/pack @ 5" exposure)
  • No.4 Grade (GREEN) - Defect to any area of shingles, such as knots etc. (2.2.m coverage/pack @ 5" exposure)
